Sufjan Stevens announces North American tour

With news of a upcoming LP currently being recorded at The National’s Brooklyn studio, Sufjan Stevens has announced a North American tour set to take place this fall starting with a gig in Montreal on October 12 at Metropolis. The singer/songwriter will then play Toronto’s Massey Hall the following evening before a string of shows down south. He will be returning to Canada at the end of October for a gig in Vancouver at Orpheum Theatre. Since 2005’s concept album Illinois, Stevens has put out several releases including an outtakes disc, a Christmas album and a tribute to the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway.

October 13 – Massey Hall – Toronto

October 28 – Orpheum Theatre – Vancouver
