Owen Pallett set to release new EP this September

Fresh from opening for Arcade Fire’s two shows in New York City, Owen Pallett has released details of his forthcoming EP, his second this year following Lewis Takes Off His Shirt. On September 28 he’ll release A Swedish Love Story, a five-track album that will be available on 10″ vinyl and digital download.

Pallett’s latest full-length album Heartland, which was also released this year, has been shortlisted for the Polaris Music Prize. Currently on tour overseas, the violinist will be returning to North America in September for shows with Dirty Projectors and then The National. Near the end of October he’ll be playing some Canadian shows on the west coast. See the dates below.
