Melissa Auf der Maur roams Heavy MTL 2010

Heavy MTL is a two-day heavy metal and hard rock festival that takes place each summer in Montreal at Parc Jean-Drapeau. This year’s lineup, the festival took place this past July, featured Megadeth, Alice Cooper, Slayer, Rob Zombie, Alexisonfire, Lamb of God, Anvil, Hatebreed and various others. Montreal native Melissa Auf der Maur, who released her second studio album entitled Out of Our Minds in March, also performed as well as acted as host for a festival doc that took fans in an around the grounds interviewing bands and giving metal-heads a reason to head to Montreal every summer from now on.
