Listen to Sufjan Stevens' new track "I Walked"

Yesterday we released details of Sufjan Stevens’ first song-based album since 2005’s Illinois entitled The Age of Adz and today we give you the first taste of said album through the track “I Walked,” available to listen to below and download over at Stereogum. Apparently the upcoming album “shows an extensive use of electronics (banjos and acoustic guitars give way to drum machines and analog synthesizers), and an obsession with cosmic fantasies (space, heaven, aliens, love), to create an explicit pop-song extravaganza.” It’s due out October 12.
