Tonight’s (10PM ET) episode of HARD is all about the Vans Warped Tour, featuring interviews and performances with Suicide Silence, Bring Me The Horizon, and the legendary Dillinger Escape Plan. Here’s a preview of what you can expect from our chat with BMTH.

Bring Me the Horizon has quickly become one of the most sought after bands within “metalcore” world. With the release 2008’s Suicide Season, which has become the band’s most seminal work thus far, came a newfound popularity which has lead to many opportunities for BMTH including a spot on this year’s Vans Warped Tour.

“I think kids in general now want to hear the heavy stuff,” explains BMTH drummer Matt Nicholls. “Like this year’s Warped there are bands like Suicide Silence, Emmure and Whitechapel. Kids just dig heavy music now.”

With the success of Suicide Season comes a high expectation for the band’s follow-up album which has also been produced by Fredrick Nordstrom. “It’s finished, finally, and it should be out later this year. There’s definitely the core sound of Suicide Season there but we’ve just taken it to different levels.”

October 5th 2010 is the tentative release date for the new album. Nicholls continued to explain what people should expect from the band’s third record. “It’s weird; one song sounds like Braveheart, whereas one song would sound like fucking Machine Head. It is just diverse and not one song [sounds] the same. It should be cool to see how people take it and accept it. We’re definitely proud of it—we’re super stoked for it to come out.”
