Fucked Up will release a new 12″single on September 28 called “Year of the Ox.” You can listen to the epic 13-minute track over at Pitchfork. The b-side is called “Solomon’s Song” and has been described as “a gothic vampire love tribute to Twilight.” The single was recorded by The Chemistry of Common Life producer John Drew. [Pitchfork]

And Eels have released a new music video for the track “Spectacular Girl,” which features a woman who is an clean-cut office worker by day and assassin by night. The song is from the band’s latest album Tomorrow Morning, the third of a trilogy of concept albums. Watch it below. [Stereogum]
