This morning's new music news; Klaxons have announced details for their upcoming North American tour, Cut Copy have released their first single off their upcoming album for free download and Weezer plan on releasing a new album under a new label this September.

Klaxons have announced dates for their upcoming North American tour. Starting in New Jersey in September the band will be touring their latest album Surfing The Void, set to come out August 23. They’ll be playing in Montreal on September 25 and in Toronto on September 27. [NME]

Cut Copy have released the first single from their as-yet-untitled new album, due out sometime early next year. The track is called “Where I’m Going” and you can download it below. The band’s last disc, In Ghost Colours was released in 2008. [Exclaim!]

And Weezer have announced they will be releasing a new album this September under a new independent label. “I’ve spent the entire morning trying to come up with a name for the record,” Rivers Cuomo said in an interview with Newstimes. “How does `Heavy Mental’ sound? There’s definitely going to be more raw rock energy on this one.” [Newstimes]
