Last week Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters and David Gilmour performed their first show together in five years at a charity event in Kidlington Hall, Oxford. Following said event the two have agreed to play another gig together on Waters’ solo tour of Pink Floyd’s 1979 album The Wall.

According to a post on Waters’ Facebook page, Gilmour will join him for one gig at a location that hasn’t been revealed yet to play the track “Comfortably Numb.” In the post Waters spoke about the recent performance with his former bandmate and hinted at what’s to come.

“Well! You could have knocked me down with a feather,” Waters wrote. “How fucking cool! I was blown away. How could I refuse such an offer? I couldn’t, there was no way. Generosity trumped fear. And so explaining that I would probably be shite, but if he didn’t mind I didn’t, I agreed, and the rest is history. We did it, and it was fucking great. End of story. Or possibly beginning.”

The North America part of the tour kicks off this September in Toronto with three shows at the Air Canada Centre. Other Canadian dates include shows in Ottawa, Montreal and Vancouver. [NME]
