Neon Indian announces North American tour with Canadian dates

Depending on your stance Neon Indian’s debut album Psychic Chasms was either one of the best or most overrated albums of last year. Those praising the work of Alan Palomo seem to outnumber those with the opposite viewpoint and since then the band has been credited with making big waves among the indie crowd and giving one music writer the satisfaction of creating the handle “chillwave” to define Neon Indian’s sound.
Starting this month Palomo will be taking Neon Indian on another trek of North America and sharing headlining gigs with the likes of Chromeo and Phoenix, bands that are by no means lightweight. They’ll make their first Canadian appearance in Montreal at the end of the month and will then later play Vancouver with Pheonix followed by a headlining gig at Lee’s Palace in Toronto before the tour concludes in Las Vegas in October.
All Canadian Dates:
July 31 – Metropolis – Montreal w/Chromeo
September 26 – PNE Forum – Vancouver w/Phoenix
October 12 – Lee’s Palace – Toronto
