Midlake talk early beginnings up to current album

Eric Pulido from Denton, Texas band Midlake chats with AUX Weekly’s Barry Taylor in an alleyway in Toronto about the bands beginnings while attending University, making it big overseas and their current endeavors. The band recently release their third album entitled, The Courage of Others and they’ll be touring Australia and the UK this summer. “Our first record never really came out here,” Pulido said. “People go crazy trying to figure out how you get this culture or this country or this community to get into it…you just make the music you make and and you hope there is an audience there that digs it.”
