Listen to Air's remix of MGMT's "It's Working"

Over the past year or so both electronic duo Air and MGMT have released new albums. With Air their latest disc Love 2 was a collection of tracks that didn’t seem to move far away from what they’d previously done with their other five releases, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing as they’ve always seemed to provide soothing electronic pop with a thirst for experimentation. MGMT on the other hand are currently riding a wave of success after they recently put out their sophomore album Congratulations following the impressive Oracular Spectacular, their first major label release.
Typically the newer band remixes a track from the past, but in this case Air’s Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoit Dunckel have reworked MGMT’s “It’s Working” and you can listen and download it for free below. At first it seems like this remix never should have taken place, but give it a chance and you’ll see the two ‘electronic performers’ are suited for things such as this.
