Download track from Great Lake Swimmers side project

Siskiyou is a band comprised of current and former Great Lake Swimmers members Erik Arnesen and Colin Huebert. Arnesen is the current guitarist for the Swimmers while Huebert was the band’s drummer up until 2007. The duo’s self-titled 12-song debut album will be released on September 7 and was apparently recorded “in hallways, stairwells, bathrooms and parks throughout the Vancouver area.”

One of the tracks appearing on the album is called “This Land” and it’s available for free download below. If you prefer your Sunday afternoons to be filled with haunting piano melodies you will be satisfied with this one. A few of the other songs off their debut are currently up on the band’s MySpace page, along with a cover of Simon and Garfunkel’s “El Condor Pasa.”
