Last year it was reported Roxy Music founder Bryan Ferry was working on a new album called Olympia with an impressive cast of contributors including Johnny Greenwood from Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Pepper’s bassist Flea and various others. According to Pitchfork the cast has gradually expanded and now features some of Ferry’s old Roxy Music bandmates including Phil Manzanera, Andy Mackay, and Brian Eno.

This will be the first time the quartet have worked on a new project since Roxy Music’s 1973 album For Your Pleasure. Other guests appearing on the album include Scissor Sisters, Pink Floyd’s David Gilmore and Primal Scream’s Mani.

The album, due out October 25, will feature two covers in the form of Tim Buckley’s “Song to the Siren” and Traffic’s “No Face, No Name, No Number.” The first single off the album is called “You Can Dance” and it will be released on August 9. [Pitchfork]
