Watch LCD Soundsystem's "Drunk Girls" Holy Ghost! remix video

Soon after LCD Soundsystem’s last release and what appears to be the final under that name for James Murphy entitled This Is Happening, the track “Drunk Girls” off said album was remixed by labelmates Holy Ghost!. The latter took a good song and made it just a little bit better and now they’ve done the same again with a new music video. The original video was directed by none other than Spike Jonze, but this one was shot by Daniel Garcia and features a good ole fashioned street joust between two birds on tall bicycles.

The two combatants prep by strapping on the required safety gear as well as some flashy outfits and set off towards one another as the video changes to a super-slow mode. After jouster A is knocked to the ground, where we can almost see her mouthing “ouch” upon hitting the asphalt, a game-winning celebratory party ensues complete with cheering and dramatic make-out scenes.
