This morning in new music; Of Montreal have released details of their upcoming album 'False Priest,' Wavves' new album 'King of the Beach' will come out a little sooner than expected and Eminem's latest disc 'Recovery' has hit number one in the UK.

Of Montreal have released some details of their forthcoming album entitled False Priest. Set for release on September 14, the new disc will feature Solange Knowles and Janelle Monáe on a couple of tracks. Their tenth studio album, the band will be touring in support of it and have a gig at this year’s Osheaga Festival. [Exclaim!]

The release date for Wavves’ upcoming album King of the Beach has been moved up to July 1 via iTunes. It was originally supposed to come out August 3, but started to leak online. The band recently performed at NXNE and showed their adoration for Paulie Shore. [Pitchfork]

And Eminem’s latest album Recovery has hit the number one spot on the UK charts, the sixth album of his to do so. Sales from the new disc in the first week were estimated at 140,000, which is the highest so far in 2010 for one album. The singles “Not Afraid” and “Love The Way You Lie” featuring Rihanna are both in the top 10. [Billboard]
