This morning's new music news; Duo Matt & Kim have announced a North American tour with Canadian dates, The Chemical Brothers' new album 'Further' is currently streaming over at NPR and Conan O'Brien will release a vinyl copy of a recording session done at Third Man Records with his legally prohibited band.

Duo Matt & Kim have announced a North American tour this Fall with dates in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. The band’s last album, Grand came out last year. On September 27 they’ll play Vancouver’s Rickshaw Theatre. The following month the band will perform at the Phoenix in Toronto on October 29 and the next night at Montreal’s Le National. [Exclaim!]

The Chemical Brothers’ seventh studio album entitled Further is currently streaming in its entirety on NPR. The track “Escape Velocity” was released a little while ago and it is a staggering 12 minutes in length. This is the band’s first album not to feature any vocal collaborations. [NPR]

And Conan O’Brien and his legally prohibited band will release a vinyl copy of a studio session done at Third Man Records earlier this month. Tracks appearing on the record include The White Stripes’ “Seven Nation Army” as well as Eddie Cochran’s “Twenty Flight Rock” featuring Jack White. Pre-orders of the vinyl are being taking now.
