S.C.E.N.E. Music Festival Lineup Announced

One of Canada’s largest independent festivals, the S.C.E.N.E Music Festival has finally announced the lineup for its 160+ roster. Shad, Lights, Down With Webster, Arkells, Cancer Bats, The Junction, The Lucky Ones and Magneta Lane among others will all be performing.

The one day event, held in St. Catharines on June 27, is now in its 15th year and attracts over 6000 to the city. Featuring 13 venues with 17 stages the festival originally started as a showcase for local talent. Although the focus is still geared towards Niagara-based music acts, over the years the festival has diversified to include musicians from all over the country.

Several artists such as Billy Talent, Alexisonfire, Ill Scarlett, Bedouin Soundclash, USS and Jason Collett have all used the festival as a starting point early in their careers.
