Being compared to Black Lips, Mark Sultan and Teenanger, Montreal’s Demon’s Claws play exactly what you’d think they’d play, dirty garage rock ‘n’ roll music. Having toured with Black Lips as well as King Khan, the band are another example of the burgeoning garage rock scene that is taking place in Montreal.

“We’re named after my Tyco electric race-car set that I personalized by melting the pieces of the track in the oven, forming my own challenging curves,” said guitarist/vocalist Jeff Clarke, know as Lester Del Ray. The band released their first full-length album in 2005 and have since then gone through a few lineup changes whilst adding a keyboard player. The second LP entitled Satan’s Little Pet Pig came out in 2007 on In The Red Records.
