Listen to new song by the Killers' Brandon Flowers

While the Killers are on an indefinite hiatus, band members Ronnie Vannucci and Brandon Flowers are off doing their own side projects. With Vannucci it’s a supergroup of sorts called Mt. Desolation, which features members of Mumford and Sons, Noah and the Whale and Keane, while Flowers is readying his solo album. The forthcoming release, due out in September is called Flamingo and we’ve got a taste of it through the track “Crossfire” via his official website.

The eager Flowers/Killers fans have managed to get the track before it was originally set to appear on the site after Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 show. You can listen to it below. By the sounds of it, it appears the singer isn’t straying too far from his other band’s latter catalog.
