Last month the winner was announced for a competition Moby hosted that involved user submitted videos for the title track of his latest album Wait For Me. Over 500 entries were submitted. Four were chosen by Moby himself and genero.tv and two others were selected based on votes. The winner was Nimrod Shapira from Israel and he received a cool $5000 in cash for his effort.

“I chose this winning video based on it’s creativity, production value, concept, and humor,” Moby said of Shapira’s video. Thanks to everyone who entered, and i’m truly sorry that there couldn’t be more than one winner, as they were all really good.”

The two runners up were Maik Hempel from Austrailia, who’s video is featured below and Martin Winther from Denmark. You can watch the winning video and all other submission on Moby’s official website. In Hempel’s video, using 8-bit graphics to the max, we see a funny looking gentlemen going about his day and dealing with marriage problems, a big ass wasp, a Bowser-like boss, street toughs, the fuzz and running out of lives.
