This morning's new music news; Ra Ra Riot set a release date for their upcoming album The Orchard, the cover art for Eminem's next disc has been unveiled and ex-Dresdon Doll Amanda Palmer is set to release an EP of Radiohead covers.

The new album from Syracuse, New York band Ra Ra Riot entitled The Orchard will be released on August 24. This is the followup to the band’s debut LP released in 2008 called The Rhumb Line. And former Dresdon Doll member Amanda Palmer is set to release an EP of Radiohead covers. In an email to fans the singer said,”i’m going to unveil my NEW ALBUM PROJECT, which *might* be an EP, and it *might* be an EP of radiohead songs, and i *might* be playing those radiohead songs on a magical instrument like, oh, a little ukulele.” The album is expected this summer.
