For those searching the net for a new picture of The Strokes you’re in luck. Taking a break from his solo tour in support of the album Phrazes for the Young, singer Julian Casablancas posted a pic (below) of him, Nick, Fab, Albert and Nicolai rehearsing.

Appropriately calling it “Boys of Summer,” The Strokes have a handful of tour dates over the next few months including performances at Isle of Wight, Lollapalooza and the Austin City Limits Festival. The band’s last album, First Impression of Earth was released in 2006 and this will be the first shows they’ve played together in years. Casablancas and guitarist Albert Hammond Jr. have pursued their own solo projects while Fab, Nick and Nicolai have collaborated with other musicians.

In an interview with ABC, Casablancas revealed the reason for touring this summer was “because the offers were so crazy, we had to say yes.” For their next album, Casablancas has stayed away from the studio while the other members track the songs. It is expected to be released later this year, we hope.
