Evolving from an instrumental and experimental home-based project to a full-fledged musical phenomenon, San Francisco four-piece Thee Oh Sees have taken elements of garage, alternative, psychedelic and art-rock to form an entirely new way of approaching music. Nearly impossible to categorize, the group has released several albums since their formation in late 90’s and have undergone various name changes that maintain the band’s obvious wit and originality.

Consisting of founding member John Dwyer (previously of Coachwhips, Pink and Brown and Landed), Brigid Dawson, Petey Dammit and Mike Shuon, the group is set to release their highly anticipated 11th full-length album, Warm Slime in May, which is already generating buzz as a result of its 14-minute title track as well as for its potential to break additional musical boundaries and offer material even more exciting than previously released. Exclaim has a download of the band’s song ‘I Was Denied‘.
