Currently on tour in support of their 2009 release, In and Out of Control, Denmark’s The Raveonettes have been applauded for their efforts to combine charming 50’s and 60’s harmonies ala The Everly Brother with the dark intensity of bands like The Velvet Underground.  Consisting of Sune Rose Wagner and Sharin Foo, the duo share vocal and instrumental responsibilities and have seemingly perfected the art of combining shoegaze, noise and vintage rock with fast-paced beats.

Signed to Vice Records, the band has released four albums since their 2001 formation, with each going on to peak critical and public interest, and to further propel the group into the heart of indie relevancy.
