Health was on the list of everyday words the band came up with to call themselves and it was the only one that wasn’t taken by another band. The Los Angeles band use a Zoothorn, purposefully keep their lyrics vague, released a single with Crystal Castles, take fans to California amusement parks and even give away autographed photos signed with their own blood.

Musically their sound has been described as electronic noise rock. Their latest album Get Color, released in 2009, featured the single “Die Slow” that helped the band generate some buzz with its early release.
