Fresh out of high school, the members of Long Beach’s Avi Buffalo have already received the buzz and acclaim many older artists have only just earned; gently showcasing both their talent and penchant for melodies through their live performances and the release of their highly-anticipated self-titled debut. Consisting of Avi Zahner-Isenberg, Sheridan Riley, Rebecca Coleman and Arin Fazio, the quartet has come to the attention of critics, audiences and musical peers, championed by fellow artists and going on to play shows alongside the Japandroids, Modest Mouse and later this year, Iggy and the Stooges.

Capturing the innocence of youth as well as the timelessness of artists like Neil Young, The Beatles or Simon and Garfunkel, Avi Buffalo has rightfully earned their place on the current pedestal of new indie favourites, proving that in addition to earnestness and honesty, there’s still a longing for all things beautiful.
