Local Natives made their late night debut on Craig Ferguson by performing the track “Airplanes” off their latest album Gorilla Manor. Released last year the disc is the band’s first studio album and was named after a house they shared in Orange County. Founding members Kelcey Ayer, Ryan Hahn and Taylor Rice started the band in high school and were later joined by bassist Andy Hamm and drummer Matt Frazier.

The band are currently on tour and will be for the majority of the summer. They have one scheduled Canadian performance in Vancouver on May 28 and will play shows across the United States and overseas including appearances at this year’s Isle of Wight and Glastonbury festivals.
