Listen to Debut Album 'Treats' From Sleigh Bells

Electro-rock pairing Sleigh Bells’ debut album Treats comes out today and it is currently streaming in its entirety on NPR and will be for the next 7 days. “It’s somehow both an aural assault and a piece of pop candy, albeit one in a overblown wrapper,” says the NPR folks.

Members Derek Miller from the band Poison The Well and Alexis Krauss from teenpop band RubyBlue hooked up and started creating music and buzz without even releasing anything. Now they have 11 intense songs that will have no trouble getting you out of bed in the morning.

Recently Sleigh Bells toured with Yeasayer and for the last show both bands combined for one performance dubbed “Sleighsayer.”
