Joanna Newsom on Jools Holland

Joanna Newsom’s latest album Have One on Me came out this past February and since its release has attracted lots of ears and positive words. Last night Newsome stopped by Later…with Jools Holland to perform the track 81, off the new disc. Playing solo with her harp, the singer/songwriter’s sweet like vocals were present from start to finish getting the attention of everyone in the room.

This albums is Newsom’s third studio album and follows 2006’s Ys, also highly acclaimed. The triple disc features instruments such as the tambura and kaval. She’ll be touring Europe all this month, but will return to the states in late July for gigs along the west coast.
