Crystal Castles Perform "Celestica" on Jools Holland

A stage set up like the one on Later…with Jools Holland doesn’t particularly suit a band like Crystal Castles too well. With no audience and a bare floor directly in front of members Alice Glass and Ethan Kath, it’s difficult for them to connect with the audience or rather engage in destructive-like performances they’ve been known to do. Either way the band played the mellow track, in terms of Crystal Castles’ other tunes, “Celestica” off their latest album Crystal Castles (II). Watching this does however get us psyched up to see them live and perform other tracks off the album like “Baptism” or “Doe Deer.” Upon touring Europe and the United States this summer, the band will stop for shows in Toronto and Montreal mid August.
