Austin City Limits Festival Lineup Announced

The Strokes, M.I.A., The Flaming Lips, LCD Soundsystems, Vampire Weekend, The Eagles, Muse, Spoon, The xx and The National are all playing this year’s Austin City Limits music festival at Zilker Park in Texas on October 8-10. Other performers include Sonic Youth, Monsters of Folk, Broken Bells, Yeasayer, Beach House, Local Natives, Band of Horses, Girls and many others. A way gnarly lineup announcement video (below) by two hippies was posted on the festival’s website along with all bands appearing.

The three-day music festival takes place every year bringing rock, country, folk, indie, Americana, hip-hop, reggae, and bluegrass bands together. Starting in 2002, the festival is said to bring approximately 65,000 people each day and has become one of the biggest music festivals in the United States alongside Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza and Coachella.
