This morning's new music news; The Cribs have cancelled their gig at Coachella, Chromeo have announced the details of their new album and The Antlers have released a free EP called New York Hospitals.

The Cribs have canceled their scheduled performance at Coachella this weekend. As we said yesterday, a massive ash cloud from a volcanic eruption in Iceland has grounded all flights in the UK and northern parts of Europe. The band started a 16 hour drive to Amsterdam to catch another flight, but have now confirmed they will not be able to make the festival. Other UK bands stranded include Frightened Rabbit and Bad Lieutenant. [NME]

Chromeo are set to release their third album following 2007’s breakthrough Fancy Footwork on August 17. The Montreal duo’s new disc is called Business Casual and before it comes out they’ll be playing several big festivals including Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo. [Pitchfork]

And The Antlers have released a new video for the track “Sylvia” that’s currently available on the IFC website. Along with the video the band have also released a free two song EP called New York Hospitals available for download on their MySpace page. [The Antlers MySpace]
