This morning's new music news; Outkast are working on their first new album in four years, Tokyo Police Club will release Champ on Dine Alone and Band of Horses have released a new song from their upcoming disc called "Laredo."

Outkast are currently working on a new album, their first in four years. This is the band’s first crack at new material since the soundtrack album for the movie Idlewild. Speaking with BBC Radio 1, rapper Big Boi said, “That’s all top secret information right now. We can’t let people know what we’re doing. You better know that something is brewing.” [NME]

Tokyo Police Club’s upcoming album titled Champ, due out June 8, will be released in Canada on the band’s new label Dine Alone who have released albums by Arkells and City and Colour. South of the border the album will come out under the New York based Mom + Pop label. [Exclaim!]

And Band of Horses have released a new song from their upcoming album Infinite Arms, due out May 18. The track is called “Laredo” and is currently streaming on the band’s official website. [Band of Horses]
