The first track off The Chemical Brothers’ new disc Further, set to be released on June 7, has been made available through the band’s label Parlophone. Entitled “Escape Velocity” the nearly 12 minute long song is the first of 8, which apparently will be accompanied with corresponding films. According to the band’s website, the new album “is the culmination of nearly two decades of psychedelic exploration, an immersive collection that finds The Chemical Brothers at their least-restrained and most-melodic best.”

Tom Rowlands and Ed Simmons will play four sold out shows next month at the Roundhouse in Camden, London. They are also set to play several festivals this summer including the Big Beach Festival, Sonar and EXIT Festival.
