MGMT Live on Saturday Night

This past weekend MGMT performed the songs “Flash Delirium” and “Brian Eno” on Saturday Night Live. For the first song, unlike the music video, there is no creature coming out of Ben Goldwasser’s neck, but rather a sold performance of the first track the band released off their latest album Congratulations. Lead singer Andrew VanWyngarden switches to an acoustic guitar for the band’s second performance, an ode to producer Brian Eno. The band have a gig this week in Toronto at the Mod Club and from there will head down south and eventually overseas.
