Hear The New Pornographers' Latest Album

The New Pornographers’ latest album entitled Together is currently available to listen to on NPR. This is the band’s, who formed in the late ’90s in Vancouver fifth studio album and its release date is set for May 4th. Guest appearances for the new disc include Zach Condon from Beirut, St. Vincent’s Annie Clark, Will Shef from Okkervil River and the horn section from Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings.
Labeled as ‘the songs of summer’ by the folks at NPR the band’s three lead singers, A.C. Newman, Neko Case and Dan Bejar are present on all 12 tracks. In support of the album, the band will hit the road early next month for a jaunt overseas and then start a North American tour, including eight Canadian dates, in June.
