Track of the Week - All Yr Songs (Green Go Remix Volume II)

Its been a pretty good 12 months for Guelph, Ontario’s party kids Green Go.  They’ve put out their full length debut (Borders) with imprint Pheromone Records,  they’ve shared the stage with Think About Life, the late Thunderheist, and You Say Party! We Say Die and they just licensed their song You Know You Want It to NBC’s Chuck.

Padding the resume a little more is Green Go‘s ability to remix their friends.  Self-releasing their Remix Project Volume 1 (featuring Born Ruffians, The Rural Alberta Advantage, Gentlemen Reg, Women) in February of 2009 really got them noticed by industry and press alike.  Now, they’re following this up with Volume II, the ‘band’s dual-organic and electronic re-hashings of their friends’ bangers’ featuring Woodhands, Diamond Rings, Gregory Pepper, and Think About Life.  The ep also includes a reworking of their own ‘Watch Your Step’.

I’ve gone through it a bunch of times and no doubt its going to get a lot of plays on my ipod.  The band will be releasing the ep as a free download as of April 1st, keep your eyes peeled for that.  Until then, check these out.
