The National Plan Release of New Album, Canadian Tour

The National will release their fifth album entitled High Violet on May 11. Their last album, 2007’s Boxer featured guest performances by Sufjan Stevens and Marla Hansen. In support of the new album, singer Matt Berninger will take his deep baritone on the road as the band embarks on a tour of North America starting in May. They will play two shows at Toronto’s Massey Hall in June, their only Canadian stop.
