Crystal Castles to Release Limited Edition Vinyl

Toronto’s Crystal Castles, a band whose timing got them on several best artists of the decade lists, have announced details for a new limited single to be released next month. Only 500 copies of the track entitled “Doe Deer” will be pressed and will be available starting April 17. Three older tracks, “Mother Knows Best,” “Insectica” and “Seed” will comprise the rest of the EP. A full studio album is expected from the band sometime this year to follow 2008’s self titled debut album. According to the BBC, listening to members Ethan Kath and Alice Glass’ music “is to be cast adrift in a vortex of deafening pain without a safety net. You get the feeling you could do anything in the world, but that ‘anything’ would ultimately mean nothing.”
