For this installment, Beck’s Record Club have covered INXS’ 1987 album Kick. Enlisting the help of Liars, St. Vincent and Os Mutantes’ Sergio Dias, Beck has released a video of the collaboration recording the track “Guns In The Sky.” Songs will be posted once a week in the order of the album’s track list. According to a post on his official website Beck wrote, “It was recorded in a little over 12 hours on March 3rd, 2010. It was an intense, hilarious, daunting and completely fun undertaking. Many classic moments, inspired performances and occasional anarchy.”

Beck’s Record Club is a series of cover albums featuring different musicians on each album. Past guests have included MGMT, Feist, Wilco, Devendra Banhart and producer Nigel Godrich. Several albums have already been covered such as The Velvet Underground & Nico and Songs of Leonard Cohen.
