Introducing, "What We See is What You Get" a new web series that will take you behind the scenes with artists for intimate interviews mixed with live performances. Our first episode features Jay Malinowski of Bedouin Soundclash, who tells us about life on the road and growing apart from his band.

Jay Malinowski took a much needed time-out from his day job as the front man of Bedouin Soundclash to re-evaluate his perspective on life, art and music. The resulting interim lead to a solo soul-purging effort entitled Bright Lights and Bruises – the title is a reference to his mentally draining career with Bedouin. In his downtown Toronto apartment, Jay’s more contemplative side shines here while he smokes a cigarette, plays some new tunes and discusses his break from Bedouin to gain some sense of meaning and purpose in his life. Stay tuned for more episodes – we’ve got an incredible list of artists coming up.
