This morning in new music news; Stockholm's The Radio Dept. release details on their new album, Mogwai film to appear at the Glasgow Film Festival and The White Stripes doc finds a US debut date at SXSW.

The Radio Dept. have finally released details for their forthcoming album. Clinging To A Scheme, is set to come out this March with the single “This Time Around” to be released soon. The album, their third, has been delayed since September of 2008. Last year the band released the track “David.” You can listen to it at their mypace page. [Chromewaves]

Details of a film and live album by Scottish band Mogwai have surfaced. The film will debut at the Glasgow Film Festival in late February and captures the band during three concert performances in Brooklyn. A CD/Triple vinyl called Special Moves will also be released. A website has been set up to view the trailer. [Prefix]

The White Stripes doc Under Great White Northern Lights, which was shot during their 2007 tour in Canada, will make its U.S. debut at this year’s South by South West Festival. The film screened at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival. A CD/DVD box set will be released on March 16. [Pitchfork]
