This morning in new music news; word at last on a new Klaxons album, Peaches releases a new music video (why do we keep buying into this thing?) and Plants And Animals tease us with details on their new album.

After several unsuccessful attempts at making a follow up to 2007’s Myths of Near Future, English electro indie-pop band Klaxons have looked for some divine inspiration. And it seems to have helped.  According to NME, Klaxons’ frontman Jamie Reynolds has said that their forthcoming album due out this year was inspired by Shamanism and the year 2012.  The band has been working on this album for three years. They have gone through a few producers such as James Ford and Tony Visconti, now settling with Korn producer Ross Robinson. [NME]

Montreal band Plants and Animals have released details for their new album, La La Land, to be released April. 20.  You can listen to the first song off the album, “Tom Cruz,” through their website.  [Plants and Animals]

Peaches has released a new video for a song off her latest album I Feel Cream…again.  This time it’s for the song, “Mommy Complex,” and if you’ve seen Peaches’ past videos, this one doesn’t seem out of place at all.  [Myspace]
