Great Lake Swimmers will be headlining this year’s Hot Ticket event as part of In The Soil: Niagara’s Hometown Arts Festival. It takes place at the Centre for the Arts at Brock University on April 23. Originally from Wainfleet, but now based in Toronto, the band is currently on tour in Asia for their fourth album Lost Channels, which was shortlisted for last year’s Polaris Music Prize.  Check out lead singer Tony Dekker’s thoughts about moving to Toronto in an episode of City Sonic.

Dekker and his band will be coming back to Canada later this month and will play a sold out show in Toronto on Feb. 6 at Trinity St. Paul’s United Church.
