Reddit guy lets users make sex playlist for his unsuspecting girlfriend

Somewhere in the pit of the internet, a Reddit user has created a popular thread titled “Reddit, I’m going to make a sex play-list out of the top 10 upvoted songs in this thread, and have sex with my GF to the playlist without giving her a heads up. Bring it on.”

World’s greatest boyfriend, BangingToRickAstley, elaborates on his plan:

Title says it all. I saw a thread like this on theB9 two years ago and it was a lot of fun. Thought I’d do it myself since me and the GF are pretty laid back people. Top 10 most upvoted songs by 5pm tomorrow make the cut. I will play the playlist tomorrow night before I have sex with my GF and document her reactions (to the music) to share with you (and ONLY her reactions to the music)

Unsurprisingly, the unstoppable flood of great ideas started immediately. The first suggestion, “I’ll Make a Man Out of You” from the animated children’s film Mulan, was followed by “Banaphone” and “The Bad Touch,” before some geek suggested the 20 minute epic “2112” by Rush. In the midst of all the excitement and excessive upvoting of “I Cum Blood” by Cannibal Corpse, a lone voice of reason appeared in the wilderness.

It’s pretty gross to use your girlfriend as a sex joke prop without her knowledge or consent. I know this is basically harmless, and you seem to think she wouldn’t mind, but I’d be pissed off if it were me. Sex is supposed to be about you, her, and your mutual pleasure and trust, not earning the approval of random rubberneckers on the Internet.

The final playlist is one any couple would be lucky to enjoy in the throes of passion: “I’ll Make a Man Out of You,” “The Bad Touch,” “Bananaphone,” the Trashmen’s “Surfin’ Bird, “In The Navy,” the William Tell Overture, “I Cum Blood,” “Cotton Eye Joe,” “Business Time” from Flight of the Conchords, and, ironically, “I Touch Myself.”

Does it sound like a song or two here might alert BangingToRickAstley’s “laid back” girlfriend to the shenanigans afoot? Don’t worry, he’s here to assuage those fears:

“Also, I forgot to mention that if for any reason my GF gets freaked out by the music and wants to stop (90% sure will happen) I will urge her for us to continue until all 10 songs are over.”
