With 18 new mixtapes dropping every 20 minutes, AUX culls the wheat from the chaff and brings you the best free download from the week prior.

Last summer, the obnoxious anthem that was Meek Mill’s “Tupac Back” put Mike WiLL Made It in the first tier of trap producers. The talented 23-year-old ATLien humbly helped to carry the sound into this decade mostly through his early work with Gucci Mane but has finally started garnering recognition through his current series of mixtapes.

His new release, Est. In 1989, Pt. 2, gathers a few of WiLL’s biggest recent bangers along with some new shit. Somehow, Juicy J finds a way to stand out on this tape, which isn’t a slight to the other performances; he’s actually listenable on this project. “Bands A Make Her Dance,” with its 40-influenced ambient vibe and chant-worthy chorus, has to be the best Juicy J song has delivered since he went solo.

While Lex Luger might be the go to producer for this style of music, it will serve Juicy well to stick with WiLL as their chemistry on this mixtape suggests much promise. Juicy along with 2 Chainz, Future, and Gucci Mane each appear more than twice on the tape alongside a band of big names (Lil Wayne, T.I., Mac Miller, and 50 Cent); together they bring these highlights of Mike WiLL and his talent to everyone’s attention.
