(Former?) Sonic Youth guitarist Lee Ranaldo is gearing up to release his first proper singer/songwriter debut, Between The Time And The Tides, and today we get our first listen to what’s in store.

“Off The Wall” features Wilco guitarist Nels Cline on lead guitar, and has that 80s indie (think R.E.M.) sound you might expect from Ranaldo.
