Suge Knight Arrested By Police, Again

Early this morning police arrested former Death Row Records boss Marion “Suge” Knight in Gardena, California. The fuzz, which included six officers, surrounded Knight’s Cadillac Escalade around 1:30 am near 147th street and Crenshaw Boulevard. He was arrested and taken to Los Angeles Police Department’s Southwest Division.
Knight had been wanted by police for a previous misdemeanor as well as questioning for allegedly assaulting Oakland rapper Yukmouth last March. Police said he and ten of his entourage got into a scrap with Yukmouth in the parking lot of Ralph’s supermarket in San Fernando Valley and stole $92,000 worth of jewelry.
Knight has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon involving a firearm and his bail is set at $65,000. He was sentence to 9 years in prison in 1997 for parole violation and again in 2003 for hitting a parking lot attendant. [AllHipHop]
Recently it was announced a Toronto based company called Wideawake Entertainment has acquired Death Row Records and will put out unreleased material from the label’s back catalog including new music from 2Pac, Danny Boy, Crooked 1 and Dr. Dre protégé Sam Sneed.
